Wow, what an amazing experience! The Westin is a gem of a hotel located right in the heart of Tianjin, surrounded by an abundance of restaurants, shops, and cafes, making it an ideal place to stay. The exceptional service, especially at the Executive lounge, stood out with friendly staff like Koko and Jenny going above and beyond. However, the knocking noise in the room every 30 seconds was quite annoying and disruptive to my sleep.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, although offering stunning views from the upper floor, could use a refresh. I also faced an issue with the door but was promptly switched to another room. The service was lacking, with staff seemingly ignoring requests and the front desk taking a long time to resolve problems. On the upside, the location was excellent in the heart of Tianjin, close to the subway station and 'Five Great Avenues. ' The dining experience was average, leading me to join the crowd below for breakfast. Facilities were decent but could be improved.
